Donaco Smyth

Donaco Smyth has written two full-length plays and several short plays, all of which have been produced. Then there are the two feature-length screenplays still awaiting their turn. Capsized Flotsam is his first novel.

He studied creative writing at Florida State University, graduating cum laude. His play Annoyed by Life is published by Heuer Publishing.

Over the years he has been a writer, an actor, a songwriter, a web designer, teacher, British dialect coach, Santa Claus, and — for one memorable evening — Vampire Master of Ceremonies at a Hallowe'en ball. Today he works as a freelance writer, producing copy for advertisements and brochures, business letters, press releases, radio spots, and travel writing. He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and Actors' Equity Association.
